Taking the boat off the water at Harbour Towne Marina had its challenges...lots more lessons learned. We left Florida on December 10 and took only two days to get home. We found a Days Inn in Dania Beach that was perfect. It had a large parking lot to accommodate the 70 foot length of the boat/truck. Large parking lots are rather uncommon in southeast Florida....very compact development. The other hotel was a Holiday Inn in Oak Grove, KY.
The ride home was pretty uneventful. Just getting use to the new truck.
This trip had its share of ups and downs. Lots of lessions learned. Not sure we are up to another trip next year, but who knows what the future will bring!
